Zootopia - Liked It

I had heard up until watching this movie that it was absolutely fabulous, and it was pretty good. I didn't like it as much as some of the other Disney/Pixar films, but it still made me laugh with all the corny jokes, kept me rooting for the heroine (Judy Hopps), and left me crying at just the right times (that's a Disney movie for ya!). Zootopia follows Judy Hopps, a rabbit who wants nothing more than to be a police officer in the city, something that no rabbit has ever done before. When her dreams finally come true, she is taken for granted and given all the odd jobs that don't get respect. Finally, she makes a deal that if she can't solve one of the biggest crimes in Zootopia, then she will willfully turn in her badge and go back to Bunny Borrows.

And that is pretty much what the film is all about, Judy finding her way and proving to everyone that you can be the best that you can be no matter how big or how small. She meets a fox, who helps her on her quest and eventually becomes a beloved friend. Teaching acceptance, courage, and confidence to the viewers, this movie is wonderful. I'm calling it a "liked it" and

I also enjoyed this movie. I think this movie would have been more successful if they would have included more songs to attract kids. This came out in the same time frame as Frozen, Home, Trolls, Sing, and Moana. The amount of songs / soundtrack really separate those from Zootopia.

As a kid, all the popular Disney movies I watched all had songs continuously throughout. A better soundtrack may have made this a true hit, but it is still worth seeing
