The Last Witch Hunter starts off a very long time ago, with a bunch of witch hunters trying to track down the evil witch queen and kill her. Walking right into her trap, most of them were all killed. However, Kaulder (Vin Diesel) is able to kill her with his sword but not quick enough to avoid her wrath. She gives Kaulder the "gift" of immortality. The film then transitions to the present day, with Kaulder still hunting witches (at least the ones that are practicing dark magic). His handler is retiring, and he must get use to his knew one, Dolan 37th (Elijah Wood). Dolan 36th is then murdered by a witch and Kaulder is on the investigation quickly. Along the way we are shown the the heads of the witch council, who take it as their duty to imprison those witches who murder, use dark magic, etc. To do this, they must use a magic monster that sucks up the person and condemns them to prison. Eventually during Kaulder's story, he discovers that he must dive into his memory to figure out who killed Dolan 36th and how the evil queen is able to return. After he discovers the big secret of the I thought the effects were a little strange for this type a movie, but am glad to see something different when it comes to witch movies. I liked Chloe's role in the movie and the overall story wasn't too bad especially the part of Kaulder's immortality and why it is so. The plot twist at the end was very predictable, but I liked the fight scene for the most part between Kaulder and the magic monster. I didn't like Vin Diesel with hair, I am however glad that it was only for a split second, too weird for me. I also liked the scene with Chloe after the women try to kill them. Humorous for sure. I'm going to give this movie an "okay" rating. I feel like I could have gone a long time without watching it and I didn't take much out of it other than the fact that it wasn't too boring. I want to talk about the witch for a second - I feel like the last three movies I've watch that were about a witch look exactly like this. I'm not sure if it's a trend or if that is what witches are supposed to look like? If you like witch movies then I would recommend this, but there are so many other options for movies that are better. Whats your favorite movie involving witches?! Mine is Hocus Pocus!

My favorite witch movie is the Hanzel and Gretel. It was really a memorable movie for me. Back in days, I have watched the cartoon form of it with my siblings. It was improvised by real characters back in 20's. Anyways, Vin Diesel really is a good actor. He suited up all characters he is going to be, one of his movies that I really like is the series of Fast and Furious. Fast and Furious is worth it to watch.
