I've never been disappointed in a Mission Impossible movie. They are always full of action, espionage, and literally impossible feats that Tom Cruise somehow pulls off. This new film is no different, but I would say it was much, much better than the last movie that was released. In Fallout, Ethan Hunt is trying to stop a nuclear attack due to weapons falling in the wrong hands. All the normal crew is present, with some new faces that may or may not actually be on his side (which plays the story line even better).
The film takes the audience and characters all over Europe, finally ending up in... Norway? Somewhere up there, sorry I can't retain every piece of information that goes through my brain very well. In this icy snowy place though, what's a Mission Impossible without Ethan Hunt straddling the bottom of a helicopter as it's flying away? I saw on twitter recently that someone ranked "helicopter explosions" and I don't remember who won the top spot, but Fallout was on there and I immediately agreed that the helicopter scene was epic and full of tension and just amazing.
Watching this movie makes me want to go back to watch all the Mission Impossible movies. As I type this review (its January, who knows when it will post), I wonder if David would be up for a Mission Impossible Movie Marathon one month this year... Anyway, I give this movie a "Liked It" and recommend it. Though it's like the 6th film in the series, doesn't disappoint an action-packed movie lover like myself. (4/5).
