I hope that you remember how much I loved Olympus Has Fallen. Well, this sequel is no exception to that. It's full of action, explosions, Gerard Butler, etc. In this movie, there's a massive funeral in London that all of the world's major leaders are invited to attend. That's the first problem, all of them in the same spot at the same time. That's just a tragedy waiting to happen, and yep, you guessed it! There's an attack. Many of the leaders are killed and the POTUS must flee for his life alongside Mike, his head of security (a.k.a secret service).
Being a sequel, it's not as fabulous as the first one. I think because it takes place in London, a place that not many American's are familiar with. It is still a good movie though, keeping the viewer on the edge of the seat waiting to see what happens next and how Mike is going to get them out of the predicament. It turns out, that a middle-eastern family is trying to get revenge on the death of a young woman during her wedding and are trying to execute the President on live broadcast... with a SWORD. I must say, that is a nice touch. Morgan Freeman doesn't have as big of role as the first movie, and we lose some characters in the initial bomb displays which is extremely sad. Overall I liked this movie and would watch it again.

It's not very often that I agree with you more than I do David, but I did for this review. I didn't think the movie was great, but I certainly didn't think it was horrendous... more of a "meh" and forgettable movie.
