This film was one of the movies that was dubbed for our October horror event, but since I had the hectic life of a person getting married, it was one of 2 movies that I just couldn’t get my hands on and watch in time. So it got moved to just the normal watch list. Once we finally moved into our new house, I was able to get my hands on the DVD that strangely I could only find at the library in my county. Well, I’ll start off by saying this movie is completely bloody and grotesquely gorey. Basically, a group of people are stuck in a nasty hole in the wall bar while creatures outside try to kill and eat them. The first 15 minutes of the film was action packed and non-stop blood shed. I remember thinking while watching, “what’s going to happen the rest of the movie if they kill everyone off in the first scene?”
The acting in this film is not great, but it’s a typical horror movie with everyone fighting and arguing the entire time hoping to survive whatever is outside. The entire movie takes place in the bar so there isn’t really a change of scenery for the viewer to latch onto. Honestly, it wasn’t really that great of a movie, but at least I found myself rooting for the humans to prevail.
Overall, this movie just wasn’t great and I don’t recommend it. However it was terrible so I’ll give it an “okay” rating. If you want to watch it, you’ll have a hard time finding it unless you’re into streaming services like Vudu (I for one don’t like paying $5 to rent a crappy movie). Beware of the gore and grossness. (2/5).
