Cloverfield - Hated It

By looking at the cover, this movie reminded me of The Day After Tomorrow​. I love that movie so I was pretty stoked to watch this one. 

*WARNING there may be spoilers in the following list*

Reasons why I couldn't even finish this movie:

1. The camera handling... Shaky Shaky. 
2. High school-like drama. 
3. The annoying guy holding the camera... Please just shut up. 
4. Is filming the end of your friends and NYC really more important than running for your life? 
5. My dog is cute. 
6. There were looters... Hit way too close to home.
7. They couldn't think of something scarier than a squid. 
8. ... Never mind it is NOT a squid. Please strike #7 from this list. 
9. The power went out... Had to go hide in case there's a human-eating squid in the Lou.
10. I realized that Lizzy isn't Zooey Deschanel but actually the emo chick from Mean Girls. 
11. Busy enjoying quite a few Water-melon-Rita's.
12. The Voice is on regular TV.
13. He went back for the camera *face palm*.
14. After the entire city was dead and/or destroyed, they finally sound the tornado sirens.
15. Unhappy ending.

Okay... So I "watched" the whole thing, as I'm sure you can tell, but only because of the explosions. This would have been an awesome movie if it wasn't filmed like The Blair Witch Project.
