I’m going to start off pretty blunt, this movie was weird AF and I hated it. Michael Shannon was naked for almost entirely two scenes…. Let that sink in for a second… as he spends time with Agnes (Ashley Judd) in her hotel room. The two of them discover there is a bug infestation in the room and decide to lock themselves inside so that it doesn’t spread.
Basically, I don’t know what happened exactly because the characters themselves don’t know what is happening. This bug infestation makes the two of the go crazy and makes it unclear what is reality and what is not.
Sigh… I don’t know what else to say about this film. It just so bizarre and very unentertaining that I can’t even find the words here. Don’t watch this. The ending itself was horrible and I just didn’t understand the purpose.
One good thing did come out of this movie watching experience though. I’ve decided that it could be fun to watch and review movies while I’m drinking/drunk. Ya know, like that Wine About It guy. He was pretty popular and hilarious right? I may start doing that… what do you think? Only for movies that I’m watching at home obviously. No drinking and driving here. Plus ones I see in the theaters I actually want to watch. (We will see if this actually happens).
I give Bug a “hated it” and a 0/5. Thanks for reading what little I had to say.
