The second movie of the newest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, was pretty good in my opinion. It was full of action, comedy, and science: just like the first one. One thing I didn't really like is the opening credits, I don't understand why the movie is introducing the turtles. I mean, this is the second movie. Shouldn't the viewers already know who the turtles are? So this movie is about the return of Shredder, who is now working with a new foe, Krang. Krang is disgusting. I'm going to call him an evil, squid, brain looking thing that lives in the torso of a robot. I'm sure there's a proper name for this type of creature, but I don't care enough to find out. So Krang wants to take over the Earth, what's new? He sends Shredder, BeBop, and RockSteady after the three pieces to open a portal so he can come to Earth and kill everyone. The turtles will have none of this. did not like was how abrupt and unsatisfying the ending was. There's the Shredder thing, and then there's the actual fight scene ending. I guess I just wanted more? I also felt like the whole "wanting to be human thing" wasn't value added to the story. Sorry, not sorry.
Just like the first movie, there were a ton of implausible scenes. For example, the turtles are jumping from one plane to another. First of all, I'm not sure it's possible to eyeball a trajectory vector like that and hit it spot on like they did. Second of all, when the plane starts to fall apart, there is no possible way that it can still fly like that. I mean... There was no tail left and the cockpit was missing. Sorry folks I just don't see that being a possible thing. Regardless of these flaws, and the fact that Krang's appearance gave me nightmares, I still liked this movie and would go see another if they produced one. Thanks for reading, I hope you have enjoyed our special week of double postings and movie sequels!!
