Dark Places - Liked It

There are many things that I liked about this movie. First of all, Nicholas Hoult was in it <3 

Second of all, the story itself. I had read this book awhile ago and was super excited that a movie was being made. Come to find out it was only available in select theaters... so I had to wait until it came out on DVD/Blu Ray. I thought they did a good job following the book with the change of past and present events. Though to me it seemed pretty uneventful, like it was climbing up to the climax of the story line by the end scene with Diondra.  

Charlize Theron was pretty awesome in this movie. She portrayed the Libby Day spot on from what I remember in the book! One thing I just couldn't wrap my head around was Chloe Grace Moretz playing Diondra.... I just don't see her as 

that type of girl. But I'm sure that just me being biased because I love If I Stay and The Fifth Wave. She definitely doesn't play a role like that in those movies! 

Overall this movie was good and I liked it.
