Stars: Christian Slater, Patricia Arquette, Dennis Hopper
Run Time: 2 hours

I guess you could say that this movie is actually about True Romance? Clarence (Christian Slater) is watching his favorite Kung Fu movies at the theater when this woman walks in a "subtly" spills her popcorn all over him. From here, the two hit it off and later go back to his place. Come to find out, Alabama (Patricia Arquette) is a call girl who was hired to meet him and sleep with him. Regardless of this though, he still has fallen in love with her after one night and decides that they should be married. First, he must get rid of her pimp daddy. Now, the next scenes don't really make sense to me. Yes, I understand that he goes to the whore house to kill the pimp daddy, but did he accidentally steal the cocaine or was that planned? Anyway, they obtain a bunch of cocaine from this house and skip town in hopes to make some money off it.

Of course, they have to bad men after them, so the rest of the movie is really just Clarence and Alabama trying to sell the cocaine and go somewhere safe while the people they stole from are tying to find them and kill them. Some romance that is. There is just so much to keep track of in this film. Clarence and Alabama, Clarence's friend Dick who finds the supplier for him, the supplier's right hand man, the Supplier himself, and then all the people that are trying to kill Clarence... one of them includes Christopher Walken. Hell yeah that's right, Christopher Walken, as a bad guy who would have thought?

True Romance is not the movie for me. I guess it is suppose to be a comedy, but I didn't find anything about it comical at all. It was just... gross and brutal and I'm going to give it a "Hated It."
