Starring: Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, McKenna Grace, Madison Iseman
Runtime: 1 hour, 46 minutes Genres: Horror, Suspense, Thriller 2019 I remember liking the other Annabelle movies, but I can't remember if we've reviewed those too. Annabelle Comes Home though, is like a hodge podge of all the other movies with the Warrens. Let's just say Annabelle isn't the only one who comes home. The film stars McKenna Grace (who I absolutely love in basically everything I see her in). She plays the Warrens daughter and is left for the night with a babysitter. Long story short, the stupid teenage girl opens up the room of danger and all hell breaks loose. I really enjoyed all the scare factors/jumps that were placed in the movie. And to be honest, McKenna's character is a beast. She just... ignores everything. So brave - as I said in my "during movie tweet" I would have called my mommy the first time I saw Annabelle out of her glass box. And the black devil dude... that shit's creepy - reminds me of Insidious which is by far my favorite horror movie series. Overall, I thought this movie was good and an excellent watch for a Saturday night horror movie night. I feel like I need to go back and watch all the Annabelle movies and all the Conjuring movies to get a better feel for the timelines in the Warren films. Are there any other series with them? If not there should be. I give a "liked it" 4/5. Similar Movies: Lights Out, The Boy
