Starring: Steve Oram, Catherine Walker
Director: Liam Gavin Runtime: 1 hour, 40 minutes Drama | Fantasy | Horror | 2016 I don't know where to even begin with this movie. A woman (Catherine Walker) wants to talk to her dead son so she hires this occultist (Steven Oram) to help with ritual stuff. The rituals are apparently dangerous and the two risk their lives to get what they want out of whoever it is they are trying to contact. From the beginning, I knew it was going to be one of those movies where the two main character bicker the entire time. That's just not my thing. They literally fight the entire time, the woman threatens to quit while the man says "no its too dangerous to quit." SPOILERS Well, it was definitely too dangerous to quite, and quite honestly I don't even understand what happened after that point. Beings came crawling for her, tried to take her finger, and then all of a sudden this deity or God or something comes out of no where and grants her the thing she wants! So basically, the ritual worked, but IDK WTF happened in the end? The entire filmography changed in the end and it was strange. END SPOILERS I'm going to have to give this movie a "Hated It." I felt like they tried to take every possible Cult Ritual possible and throw it on screen for one movie. There was too much happening ritualistically, then fighting, then SOME bumps in the night, and then all the end sequence stuff happened. To me, there wasn't much flow to the film and it wasn't exciting to watch. (0/5).
