You get a sandwich! And you get a sandwich!

Antipasto Sub

I’ve been wanting to make this one for awhile now, just haven’t gotten to the store to get the ingredients. Typically, I don’t like antipasto, but this sub isn’t so bad. Salami, artichokes, olives, and italian dressing. It wasn’t bad. Definitely not my favorite thing I’ve made in the last stretch of recipes.
Instead of making my own dressing, since I already own Italian dressing, I just added that to the sandwich. It seemed easy and pointless to buy everything just to make dressing I already have. It would have came out similarly enough right?

Toasty Deli Hoagie

Since I had hoagie buns from the antipasto subs already, I thought it a good idea to cross another sandwich off the list. This time a toasted sandwich, which are my favorite kinds of sandwiches. Technically, Rick made these ones because I had to go to the store to track down guacamole that Shop n Save didn’t have. I’m starting to think I may need to shop somewhere else.

But, I know where everything is in that store finally so I don’t know if I’m ready to commit to learning another store’s layout right now. How bout you guys just keep things stocked hmm?
The buns I had were just a tad too small for all the meat that were going on it: salami, ham, and turkey. The yellow peppers were PERFECT with the guacamole and mayonnaise mixture. I did like this sandwich regardless of how much of a mess I made while eating it. I’d recommend it, but go with the french bread that it suggests so everything can fit. I love french bread, so I bet it tastes better that way anyway.
