Handy Dandy Tandy Kake

Grandma's Tandy Kake

Pretty sure I didn't cook this long enough. The recipe says "until edges are golden" so that's what I did, but I felt like the middle was a little too battery than it should be. However, I don't know if this type of cake is suppose to be different than other types of cake? Either way, it was still delicious especially when served cold. I had the most fun melting the chocolate - this was the first time I've ever melt chocolate that actually worked! I created my owned double boiler by using two pots (thank you Pinterest for this suggestion) and it worked out wonderfully! I
was very impressed. The peanut butter was a nice addition to the taste, though it was tough to spread on top (I ended up warming it up in the microwave so it was easier to spread) and I didn't really measure how much I put on. Pretty much used the entire jar. Thumbs up on this recipe for sure!

Homemade Pizza

This turned out awesomely. I put an entire bag of mozzarella cheese, green pepper, ground beef, and onions on this pizza. The crust was perfectly baked - crunchy but still a little soft on top. One thing I'll say, I'm not good at "framing" the pizza, it kind of looked like a bowtie, but who cares what it looks like if it tastes so delcious?!

Thumbs up for sure on this recipe.

Chesapeake Crab Dip

This dip has cream cheese in it *insert sad face emoji* but it was fairly easy to make. The recipe says to bake it in the oven, but I decided to just make it in a crock-pot since I was stuck at home due to the icy conditions and thought it would be great to just walk over, have a cracker with dip on it, and go on with whatever else I was doing. My little crock pot was the perfect size for all the ingredients needed. I added some extra cheddar cheese because why not?!

Thumbs up for easiness.
