Artichoke Stuffing [my face]

Artichoke Stuffing

I made this as a side dish to go with Thanksgiving dinner with my friends. Stuffing is one of my favorite sides so I was excited to make it from scratch for the first time. It wasn't as difficult as I thought. Baking the bread turned out perfect, I may do this in the future just for croutons or something. The mix of artichokes, mushrooms, celery, and onions smelled so good. When put in the dish with the bread and broth, it smelled even better after it was done baking.

Next time I don't think I would use sourdough
bread, mainly because it's not my favorite, but other than that this was another good recipe that turned out how I'd hoped. My friend even said "for not liking stuffing, this is pretty good."

Ozark Mountain Berry Pie

I'm not going to lie to you, I've never made a pie before. So this experience was a good one for me, and I thought it was actually a lot of fun. The berry pie is pretty easy, just boil the blueberries and then add the rest of the berries and put it in the pie crust to bake. I even did the lattice feature just like the cookbook - picture perfect I must say. And it tasted AMAZING. Normally I don't eat blueberries (refer to my Blueberry Buckle post) but I had to try this one because my house smelled amazing while it was baking. I was not disappointed. Probably the only fruit pie I
have ever fully loved (not a fan of apple pie, but I eat it anyways). Definitely recommend this recipe and definitely will be making this again. The only change I would make is on my end - a smaller pie dish, but the recipe is perfect. And with Reddi-Whip on top it's even more perfect.
