I don’t know how I feel about it on pasta though. I know it’s in the pasta aisle at the store, but I don’t think I’d ever actually eat it on pasta itself.
Thumbs up for easy recipe, as long as you have a food processor. I’m storing my pesto in a sealed tight container, but I suspect I’ll use the entire thing on the pizza so I don’t have leftovers. Now to find other recipes I can do this “two for one” thing with.
I spent literally 15 minutes looking for the pre-cooked chicken I bought and could not find it. I’m a little upset, I guess it didn’t get bagged when we were bagging up the cart. Thankfully, my mom had some leftover fried chicken so I just pulled the batter off and stuck it on the pizza. I think it worked out nicely, but not as perfect as the pre-cooked chicken from the deli section would have been!
I used Pillsbury pizza dough, because I hate making dough to needs kneading and Pillsbury has been my favorite since the first time I’ve made my own pizza at home. The overall product was delicious and I would make this again probably one day. Thumbs up!
As for the veggies, I thought they were all delicious, though I feel like there was a bit too much in my wok (I’m calling it that, not sure if it was truly a wok) and not enough noodles. I did however only have one serving leftover so that’s good for my lunch! I like having more than just me and my fiance to cook for, living at my parents house there is plenty of people to cook for for the next couple months! Now I just have to be able to afford the cooking… I’ve spend too much just on the last week’s groceries, but it’s nice knocking some recipes off the list!
The asian veggie glass noodles were delicious. Instead of hard boiled eggs, I went ahead and fried them in a skillet like I normally make eggs. I didn’t serve them in a bowl, but that doesn’t affect the taste right? It was good and I’d consider making it again if it didn’t take so many ingredients. Plus I don’t have all my spices with me and it’s putting a damper on what I can actually make! Thumbs up.
Next time (if there is a next time) I'll make sure to cut the pears up immediately before serving, because they are a little brown as you can see in the picture. The gorgonzola was delicious with the spring mix and the dressing that I chose. I probably should have added more nuts because I don't think I got any in the bites that I took of it.
I'm going to say thumbs to the side. Perhaps I could try again when hazelnuts are in season and I can actually find them at the store?
Next time I make this, it is going to be with champagne for sure. I'll give it a thumbs up recipe, but recommend getting that seedless watermelon even though it's going to get strained regardless.
