Today we have yet another animated film that I added to the Top 100 list from last year: Storks. And it's about just what you'd expect, storks. This film plays off the history of storks "delivering babies" when parents are in need of a child. In the film, this was their business. A request is made from a couple for a baby and the storks deliver. Now, all these years later, they no longer make babies and are delivering packages like UPS or something. They stopped delivering babies when one of the storks decided he wanted to keep it - this child is grown up now and is working with the storks to man the factory. Well, lets just say that this girl is extremely clumsy and none of the storks want her around anymore. The basis of this movie is a baby is accidentally made and they must deliver to the people that requested it.
Along the way they are thrown with many obstacles. Wolves, the CEO, the crazy stork, etc. Being a children's movie, I found the comedy to be good and I laughed a few times. My favorite parts were the wolves and the reasoning behind why they wanted to take the baby from Tulip and Junior. I liked how the parents (played by Jennifer Aniston and Ty Burrell) eventually started to pay attention to their son, even though they did not believe that the storks were going to bring him a little brother.
The story-line was fine and the animation was pretty good, nothing to extravagant. I had a hard time liking the way Tulip looked... her feet were just so big and I couldn't get over it. I did like the ending.
"If that boy were an apple, he'd be a delicious"
